About the Role As part of our 2026 growth and succession planning strategy, we are building a talent pipeline for future leadership roles within our company. We’re seeking expressions of interest from experienced and ambitious operations professionals who want to step into or progress within a leadership role. This opportunity is ideal for individuals looking to position themselves for a potential upcoming vacancy or expansion within our depot management team. Salary: £33,500-£35,000 depending on role placement. Key Responsibilities Support the day-to-day execution of depot operations across transport and pallet movements. Liaise with drivers and warehouse teams to meet service levels and compliance targets. Assist with shift planning, route optimisation, and KPI tracking. Contribute to continuous improvement in safety, efficiency, and cost control. Work alongside depot management in ensuring customer-first service delivery. Ideal Candidate A genuine passion for transport operations – particularly HGVs, commercial vehicles, and fleet performance. Experience in logistics, transport, or pallet network operations. A proven ability to manage people and processes under pressure. Familiarity with compliance requirements (e.g., WTD, driver hours). Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
