Title – Team Leader
Salary - £29500pa-£30,000pa
Location - Doncaster
Role - Permanent
Working Hours - Mon-Fri 7.30am-4.30pm
This is an exciting opportunity for the successful team leader to work with a long-established supplier on the outskirts of Doncaster, due to the company experiencing a period of organic growth they are looking to add to the existing team where duties will include:
· Ensure accurate assembly and design of all orders, using associated machinery
· Oversee and support the day-to-day activities of operatives, ensuring adherence to operational and safety guidelines.
· Maintain effective communication within the team and across departments to resolve any issues.
· Ensure all transfers are accurately receipted, located, and any discrepancies are reported promptly.
· Keep work areas and equipment clean and well maintained.
· Prioritise workloads as directed by the Warehouse Supervisor
· Allocate resource based on departmental needs and adjust as required
· Monitor and help achieve team productivity goals, with a target of 800-1,000 items imaged per day.
· Supervise and support the completion of a full weekly clean down of the area.
· Lead and oversee the training and onboarding of new and existing team members.
· Proactively minimise the number of non-conformances raised against the department
It is expected that the successful team leader will have experience of working in a branding or embroidery role or similar, working in a warehouse or similar environment, stock control position whilst leading teams, have a strong understanding of all Microsoft office packages, intermediate excel knowledge, be confident in managing multiple priorities whilst working with accuracy and with own initiative.
