Job Title: Operations Team Member Location: Bangalore Business & Team: Retail Operations is responsible for the decisioning, fulfilment, and settlement and servicing of retail lending products across CBA and forms part of the broader Retail Operations team. Your key priorities and responsibilities include: Credit Assessment or Underwriting is the detailed credit analysis preceding the grant of a loan. The credit analysis includes verifying and assessing an applicant’s current financial position, employment history, credit history, credit needs, ability to pay and the asset being offered as security. Reviews credit exposures against the limit framework and provides analysis. Applies knowledge of retail lending. Understands strategies and policies for the management of credit risk across the credit lifecycle. Meet or exceed quality assurance standards. Adhere to Group Credit Policy and Code of Banking Practice with the objective of maximising revenue and minimising risk. Research customer requests by gathering all relevant information/data, ensuring all available avenues and sources of information are investigated. Ensure all research and investigation is accurately recorded including supporting evidence and documentation. Helps leaders implement any process updates. Exercise thorough credit worthiness assessment and sound decision-making. Contribute to Improvement ideas which would help in change management and delivery of desired strategic outcome. Work productively as part of a team or independently to meet deadlines. Essential Skills: Minimum 1-3 years’ experience in Financial Verification, Pre assessment, assessment, or underwriting experience / Funding of loans. Highly energetic and dynamic professional who is always striving to do better for our customers. Candidate needs to be comfortable to work on Weekends along with public holidays and flexible to support the business on need basis, to service our customers and achieve NPS+30 Goals Understanding of the end-to-end process flow for unsecured products. Proven ability to effectively plan and coordinate incoming work and enquiries. Excellent communication skill Written and Oral. Strong in exercising sound judgement backed by analytical and problem-solving skill. Carrying impressive interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with our Australian onshore team. Demonstrate curious mindset and ability to investigate. Educational Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Finance, Accounting, or Business.
