JOB SUMMARY

The Operations Technician II plays a pivotal role in our integrated production and service processes. This position involves closely monitoring workflow, ensuring that stringent quality standards are met in both manufacturing and service and actively promoting a culture of safety among team members. Operations Technician II will actively participate in product assembly, service tasks, and the meticulous handling of electronic components.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum of 2 to 3 years of technical experience in electronic technologies is preferred.
  • Completion of a diploma in Electronic Technology or a related field.
  • Ability to read work orders and work from drawings and specifications.
  • Working knowledge of QT9 and Salesforce (considered an asset).

  • Computer literacy including Windows Operating system, Microsoft Office (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Familiarity with Solidworks software is an asset.

Responsibilities

PRODUCTION RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Proficiently execute precise production tasks to assemble and manufacture BIOFLEX Laser Therapy devices.
  • Oversee and optimize daily workflow to ensure the timely delivery of production.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized work environment, promoting a culture of safety among the team.
  • Convert the partial/fully assembled products into the finished products per Work Order.
  • Ensure products consistently meet and exceed engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Perform electronic component and product assembly when required, ensuring precision and accuracy.
  • Take responsibility for maintaining and calibrating production equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
  • Master all relevant sections and procedures of Meditech International Inc.’s ISO 13485:2016 Quality System (SOPs) to ensure compliance.
  • Accurately complete batch paperwork, perform equipment maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and follow established procedures meticulously.
  • Uphold and enforce strict adherence to Meditech’s quality standards, striving for excellence in every product.
  • Expertly identify and resolve technical issues that arise during production processes.
  • Adapt seamlessly to various production tasks, maintaining flexibility and a cooperative mindset to ensure workflow continuity.
  • Use knowledge gained from hands-on production experience to enhance and optimize production procedures.

SERVICE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Conduct service-related tasks, including diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance with precision.
  • Provide exceptional technical assistance to BIOFLEX system users, addressing issues promptly and professionally.
  • Resolve customer inquiries and system issues effectively, both in person and through remote communication channels.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to resolve complex service challenges.
  • Demonstrate expertise in diagnosing technical issues in the service context.
  • Rigorously test, troubleshoot, and repair products as needed, ensuring the highest level of performance.
  • Uphold strict adherence to Meditech International Inc.’s ISO 13485:2016 Quality System and associated procedures.
