The Chemical Manufacturing Operator performs a variety of duties to support production planning and warehouse operations. Safely manufacture chemical products involving the ability to follow and comply with defined procedures; utilizing automated/semi-automated equipment while following defined safety policies. Manufacture and package a variety of products through staging, mixing, blending and labeling.

• Produce chemical batches following written production operating instructions and formulations.
• Coordinate the production of finished products while ensuring quality control criteria has been achieved.
• Operate manufacturing equipment and ensure preventive maintenance criteria and schedule are achieved.
• Follow all Lab processes and procedures related to the testing and recording of test results.
• Clean and respond to chemical spills safely, using appropriate safety equipment. Although spills are rare at SurTec, the ability to respond safely and appropriately is critical to the role.
• Perform other duties as assigned, based on workload and business needs
