The Opportunity Our Lysaght business is looking for an Operations Team Member to join the Production Team based in Townsville. Made in Australia since 1921, Lysaght manufactures and markets steel building products that have helped shape the nation: from iconic corrugated roofing over Australian homes, to large commercial and industrial projects. You’ll work on a rotating roster across Day and Afternoon Shift, with shorter Fridays built in, supporting a work-life balance: Day Shift: 6:00am – 2:00pm (Mon-Thu), 6:00am – 12:00pm (Fri) Afternoon Shift: 2:00pm – 10:00pm (Mon-Thu), 2:00pm – 6:00pm (Fri) What Will You Do? As part of our supportive team, you’ll play a hands-on role in producing high-quality steel building products that are used across Australia. Your day may include: operating processing machinery (training provided) loading and unloading steel products safely manual handling tasks including packing and strapping customer orders to specification learning to operate forklifts and gantry cranes supporting your teammates to keep production running smoothly and safely More About You Whether you have worked in operations previously or are looking for a change, what matters most is your wiliness to learn and grow – we’ll provide all the training you need to succeed.
