JOB DESCRIPTION:

Providing for loved ones, planning rewarding retirements, saving enough for whatever lies ahead – our policyholders count on us to be there when it matters most. It’s a big ask, but it’s one that we have the power to deliver when we work together. We collaborate and innovate – pushing one another to transform not just Pacific Life, but the entire industry for the better. Why? Because it’s the right thing to do. Pacific Life is more than a job; it’s a career with purpose. It’s a career where you have the support, balance, and resources to make a positive impact on the future – including your own.
We’re actively seeking a talented Operations Training Manager to join our Training and Documentation team in Newport Beach, CA or Omaha, NE.
This role is hybrid. We believe in empowering our employees to get work done both in and out of the office.
As an Operations Training Manager you’ll move Pacific Life, and your career, forward by guiding the planning, design, coordination, facilitation, and evaluation of business content-focused training within the Operations teams. You will fill a new role in the Consumer Markets Division (CMD).

THE EXPERIENCE YOU BRING:

8+ years of increasing responsibility in operations with focus in operations training, process improvement, or related field.
Experience creating learning materials to support new hire and ongoing training of operations functions, procedures, and processes.
Knowledge of adult learning principles and change management.
Familiarity with operations environments, including production and quality metrics, process-driven training needs, and customer service principles.
Able to work effectively and collaboratively with diverse groups of people and various position levels.
Must be able to plan and manage time effectively to meet project deadlines.
Must be comfortable working in an environment of change.
4-year degree or equivalent experience.
