OVERVIEW

We have a number of local Primary Schools within Torbay who require School Cross Patrols in order to safely see the children across the road. We are looking for people who can provide a reliable and attentive service for a few hours each day. Each site operate their own hours and so hours will be site dependent.
SWISCo will undertake a DBS check and medical review for every successful candidate prior to their start date.

• No experience is necessary as full training will be provided

• Safe transition of children and other pedestrians crossing the road at the designated crossing site during the specified times.
• Maintain control over children and other pedestrians who are waiting your instructions to cross.
• Where the site has warning lights, ensure they are operating in accordance with agreed times.
• To use all uniform and equipment provided for the safety of you, children and all members of the public, especially when stopping traffic on the Highway.
