Job Description We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Operator 1 to join our team in St. Joseph, United States. As an Operator 1, you will play a crucial role in our manufacturing operations, ensuring smooth production processes and maintaining high-quality standards. Operate and monitor various production equipment and machinery Load, assemble, and unload parts and components from different machines Conduct regular quality inspections on parts and components to ensure adherence to quality standards Complete necessary paperwork and maintain accurate production records Participate in Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) activities and report any machine anomalies Assist in training new employees and cross-train on other functions within the team Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in line with 5S philosophy Contribute to continuous improvement processes (CIP) and participate in Kaizen events Collaborate with team members to meet production schedules and goals Perform other essential duties as assigned Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution Previous machine operator experience is helpful but not required Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to use and operate hand and air tools Proficiency in reading various types of functional gauges Excellent attention to detail and quality control skills Good interpersonal, organizational, verbal, and written communication skills Basic math skills for measurements and record-keeping Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights Flexibility to work overtime when required, sometimes with little advance notice Knowledge of manufacturing processes and safety procedures (preferred) Commitment to workplace safety and willingness to follow all safety protocols Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions efficiently Additional Information BOSCH is a proud supporter of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics) Initiatives.
