Applications are invited from ambitious, energetic and performance driven individuals to fill in vacant position(s) mentioned below: POSITION Operator 1 - Dump Truck DEPARTMENT Open Pit Mining LOCATION Geita Gold Mine Tanzania EMPLOYMENT STATUS Permanent POSITIONS Six (6) OBJECTIVE OF THE ROLE The purpose of this role is to operate a dump truck in support of mining operations, conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on the equipment, and ensure work is carried out according to plan while strictly adhering to safety protocols and practices. ROLE ACCOUNTABILITIES Operate dump trucks in line with standard operating procedures Conduct pre-start inspections and ensure equipment is in safe working condition Follow haulage instructions and production plans Maintain safe speeds and comply with traffic management rules Report breakdowns, delays, or safety concerns promptly Working closely with dispatches, supervisors, and other operators to ensure smooth operations Identifying and reporting hazards, equipment issues, or unsafe conditions Support a strong teamwork and safety culture ROLE REQUIREMENTS Education & Qualification Completion of Secondary School Education. The incumbent must have a valid Tanzanian driving license class C, D, E & F. Experience, Knowledge and Skills A minimum of 2-5 years of working experience in Mining or related field.
