Description

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be: * Machine Operation: Set up and operate CNC machining equipment such as CNC turning machine, milling machines, grinders, and drills. * Technical document Interpretation: Read and understand technical drawings, blueprints, and work instructions to ensure accurate machining. * Quality Control: Inspect finished products using measuring tools (callipers, micrometres, gauges etc.) to ensure they meet required tolerances and quality standards. * Tooling & Setup: Select and install cutting tools, fixtures, and machine attachments for optimal performance. * Process Monitoring: Monitor machine operations, adjust settings as needed, and troubleshoot issues to maintain production efficiency. * Maintenance & Safety: Perform routine maintenance on machines and follow all safety regulations to prevent accidents and equipment damage. * Production Reporting: Maintain accurate records of production activities, including machine settings, part counts, and quality checks. * Continuous Improvement: Participate in process improvement initiatives and suggest ways to enhance efficiency and productivity. For This Role, You Will Need: * Secondary school or equivalent experience or above, with a major in mechanical manufacturing or CNC machining. * More than 5 years of machining operation experience. * Familiar with machining processes and have a certain understanding of various lathes, cutting tools, and fixtures. * Possess basic knowledge of metal technology and metal material processing. * Good communication and coordination skills. * Basic understanding of 5S and TPM. * Ability to read drawings and perform machining according to process requirements.
