This role involves skilled maneuvering of equipment for excavation, grading, loading, and transporting materials, as well as performing regular equipment inspections and maintenance. Key Responsibilities: - Safely operates heavy equipment, including excavators, bulldozers, loaders, and graders, according to site requirements and established safety procedures. - Maneuvers equipment with precision to excavate, grade, load, and transport materials as required by project plans. - Performs pre- and post-shift inspections on equipment, diligently reporting any malfunctions or required maintenance to supervisors. - Adheres to all company safety policies and regulatory guidelines regarding heavy equipment operation, ensuring a safe working environment. - Wears appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times while operating equipment and on the job site. - Follows project plans and instructions accurately, ensuring tasks are completed according to specifications and deadlines. - Works effectively in physically demanding conditions, including prolonged periods of sitting, operating controls, and potential exposure to various weather elements. - Communicates effectively with other team members and supervisors regarding project progress, potential issues, and safety concerns.
