Freight forwarding agent (male/female )

Operator Air Freight Export (m/w/d).

In this position, you will independently organize intercontinental air freight shipments with the aim of ensuring optimal customer satisfaction while simultaneously generating sufficient profit for Röhlig Germany. Your responsibilities will include customers within a defined transport region and/or specifically assigned clients.

These are the tasks that await you:

• Independent order processing from A to Z, according to customer specifications
• This includes, among other things, the
  • Order-related communication with the customer and the Röhlig international branches / international partner freight forwarders
  • Verification of the completeness of all required documents and information needed for order processing.
  • Cost calculation, selection of carriers including booking of the shipment, documentation
  • Organization of pre-transportation
  • Invoice
• All this while complying with all relevant regulations (customs, dangerous goods, code of conduct, FCPA, etc.) 

This is the profile you bring:

• Completed vocational training as a freight forwarding and logistics services clerk
• Operational professional experience in air freight
• Good user skills in MS Office, Cargowise (CW1)
• Open-minded and friendly personality
• High level of commitment and teamwork skills
• Good German and English language skills
