Job Details Level: Experienced Job Location: Plover WI - Plover, WI 54467 Position Type: Full Time Salary Range: $20.47 - $21.97 Hourly Job Shift: 1st Shift Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties as assigned. Monitor waste reductions Verify correct packaging materials are being used Verify correct date codes are being used Record data for quality assurance, safety and OEE specifications Make adjustments of equipment for efficient operations Set up equipment for startup and change over Ensure all safety devices are operable and being used Monitor weights to ensure conformance Work daily with enthusiasm and sense of urgency Monitor freezer operations: Startup freeze tunnel Clear ice from fans and rails (confined space) Reset alarms, add oil Adjust speed and temperature as needed Report problems to Maintenance Work with maintenance to ensure 100% uptime Complete required paperwork Ensure company goals are met through continuous line improvements Maintain adherence to company policies, safety standards, and good manufacturing practices Must wear required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) as provided Perform other duties as required or directed such as: Wipe down condensation above baggers, upstairs under V.F. feeder and S.D. conveyor Some basic maintenance Assist other operators when able *Must be 18 years old to be employed by Monogram* “This role will require extended hours based on production needs, including work to be performed after regular business hours and on weekends.” Qualifications Ability to understand and communicate effectively. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Physical environment/working condition: The employee is regularly required to stand, use hands fingers and arms to handle, feel and reach climb or balance and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to walk. The employee is occasionally required to sit and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. The employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts; high, precarious places and risk of electrical shock. The employee is frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions and extreme cold. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
Responsibilities
The Operator, Bagger is responsible for monitoring waste reductions, verifying packaging materials and date codes, and ensuring efficient operations through equipment adjustments. They also monitor freezer operations and work with maintenance to ensure 100% uptime.
