Aquatech Canadian Water Services is a privately held Canadian corporation established in 2004, specializing in management, operations, and maintenance services for both Water and Wastewater facilities. Aquatech Canadian Water Services is one of the largest private Canadian Groups offering Water and Wastewater Treatment Services.
We are currently hiring an Operator for full-time position in Greater Toronto Area. Certified operators are responsible for performing such duties as: conducting operational checks; adjusting, testing, or evaluating a process that controls the effectiveness or efficiency of a drinking water system or wastewater treatment facility; adjusting or directing flow, pressure, or quality of water or wastewater.

RESPONSIBILITIES
· Good knowledge of water and wastewater treatment processes to successfully operate facilities. · Working experience/knowledge of the skilled trades for the maintenance and repair of a variety of equipment. · Sound knowledge of the Occupational Health and Safety Act and other relevant regulatory and legislative acts, codes, policies, guidelines and procedures related to water and wastewater operations and maintenance; health and safety procedures/WHMIS. · Good knowledge of the relevant regulatory and legislative acts, codes, policies, guidelines and procedures related to water and wastewater operations and maintenance, including the Occupational Health and Safety Act, and health and safety procedures. · Knowledge/understanding of water/sewer system design. · Knowledge of basic mathematics and chemistry to make calculations for chemical and operating processes.
