About The Role ARC (The Australian Reinforcing Company) is looking for a new team member to join our recently established Truganina branch as an Operator/Customer Service Officer where you will be attending to the needs of the branch, including dealing with customer enquires, using manual machines to shape & cut reinforcing bar and supporting the team.You'll become part of a small team where your responsibilities will include achieving KPIs and fostering a safety-first culture. Being a part of ARC provides a valuable chance to acquire hands-on experience in steel processing, pre-fabrication, and distribution. It also opens doors for career progression and development opportunities.The hours for this role will be Monday to Friday from 6:00am-2:30pm or 7:00am-4:00pm.As a key member of the team you will: Operate manual benders to shape and cut reinforcing bars and mesh Operate a forklift Accurately pick and pack orders Load and unload trucks for customers or our drivers Provide a high level of customer service Support internal sales processes when required Promote and contribute to a safe workplace To be successful in this role you will value collaborative working environments and promote a safety-first culture.
