Reporting to the Operations Manager, our Operators are an essential part of our team - responsible for the safe handling and storage of fuel products, and facilitating operational, maintenance and product quality activities. This is a Full-Time, 24/7 shift based role, where collaboration and communication is essential to the safe and efficient operation of the terminal. What you will do Shares safety knowledge and understands that ‘safety comes first’ Actively participates in HSSE activities such as safety meetings, hazard identifications, work insights and emergency response planning Implements operational procedures safely and efficiently Completes monitoring, sampling & testing of fuel and fuelling equipment. Use of the company management systems. Provides safe access to plant and equipment via work clearances, gas testing, permitting and isolations. Surveillance and inspections, supports preventative, follow-on and reactive work orders, using JDE maintenance management system. Basic maintenance and housekeeping duties in relation to operational areas. Provides support on maintenance and project work, ensuring the interface between operational and project/maintenance activities is safely and efficiently managed. Other operational activities as required by the Terminal Manager. Qualifications We are looking for people who can demonstrate a commitment to HSSE (Health, Safety, Security & Environment) and the desire to work and contribute to a high-performing team You care about people and want to be part of a tight-knit team, are dependable, detail-oriented and can apply innovative problem-solving skills. You are able to demonstrate a curiosity about operations or technology and have a track record in taking ownership and delivering on your promises.
