Description

Eaton’s ES AMER PCS division is currently seeking a Operator I - 2nd Shift. The core hours are 3:00pm to 11:30pm. The hourly rate for this position is $16.80 per hour. What you’ll do: This position is responsible for the set up and operation of various machines to produce quality parts based on pre-determined specifications. Studies blueprints, sketches, drawings, manuals, specifications, and sample parts to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished workpiece or setup requirements Sets up, starts, and observes machine operations to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining, and troubleshoots or adjusts machine controls as required Operates a variety of machines as directed by supervisor or lead Completes changeovers and material feed-through Completes first piece inspections and machine guarding checklists Uses gauges and calipers to inspect and verify conformance of finished workpiece to specifications Performs other duties as assigned Qualifications: Basic (Required) Qualifications: Must have a high school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
