Eaton’s ES AMER ARS division is currently seeking a Operator II (2nd shift). The hourly rate for this position is $22.40 + 5% shift differential per hour. HOURS: 3PM - 11PM Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. What you’ll do: The Operator II’s role is responsible for operating and monitoring press brake and shear equipment within the Fabrication department. This role is expected to operate and maintain equipment while complying with all safety policies and procedures related to fabrication line work. This individual should have experience operating fabrication equipment and precision-measuring equipment. Comply with all safety policies and procedures, including wearing proper Personal Protective Equipment Perform job duties in a manner that follows Eaton Quality standards and systems Fabricate parts according to drawings, routings and work instructions using press brakes and shear operations Use manufacturing information to determine necessary parts and fixtures and obtain materials from stock areas Perform quality checks consistent using measuring instruments and/or templates Set and adjust fabrication materials and equipment Cross-train in other areas of the department Replenish Inventory of fabrication department Maintain cleanliness of equipment and work areas using Eaton’s 5S procedures Train new-hire operators on operating presses Position Criteria: Ability to lift 40 pounds and stand throughout working shift and work overtime as needed Qualifications: Basic Qualifications: Must have a high school diploma/GED from an accredited institution No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates residing within the immediate geographical area (within 50 miles) of the work facility will be considered for this position.
