You’ll support production by loading parts, monitoring machine operation, performing inspections, and maintaining accurate production records. You’ll work alongside experienced machinists and leaders who value teamwork, urgency, and precision. ---------------------------------------- WHAT THIS JOB ACTUALLY LOOKS LIKE * You load parts into a CNC machine and monitor the cycle for smooth operation * You inspect finished parts using calipers, pins, and gauges * You verify dimensions match print requirements * You keep machines supplied with coolant and ready to run * You record counts and revisions in Epicor travelers * You help maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area ---------------------------------------- WHAT YOU’LL DO HERE * Safely operate CNC machines while meeting quality expectations * Load and unload parts efficiently * Inspect parts to ensure tolerances are met * Use measuring tools such as calipers, gauges, pins, and micrometers * Read blueprints and verify drawing requirements * Ensure machines have coolant and basic readiness for operation * Start up and shut down machines as required * Complete travelers, part counts, and revision checks * Log production activity into Epicor ERP * Maintain a safe and clean work environment * Support team production goals and assist where needed ---------------------------------------- WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR * CNC operator experience or related manufacturing/shop experience preferred * High school diploma or equivalent * Strong mechanical aptitude * Ability to use measuring tools and follow specifications * Ability to work safely and consistently in a production environment * Strong attendance and dependable work habits ---------------------------------------- WHY YOU’LL LOVE WORKING WITH US At 5th Axis, this isn’t just another production job—it’s an opportunity to join a respected manufacturing team producing world-class products.
