JOB TITLE: Operator, LIM FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt REPORTS TO: Supervisor, LIM LOCATION: Owasso, OK SHIFT: Second 3 PM - 11 PM JOB SUMMARY The LIM Machine Operator is responsible for operating and tending to the press machines to mold, shape and form components. The operator uses job travelers and other documentation to specify and ensure conformance. DUTIES & ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS 1. Operates a heavy-duty Liquid Injection Rubber Press that ranges from 20-Ton to 100-Ton capability to form rubber products from Liquid Silicone Rubbers as specified by blueprints, layout, and templates. 2. Follows the sequence outlined in the Method of Manufacturing (MOM), applying knowledge of the physical properties of rubber and the flow process. 3. Informs the Shift Lead of any changes in the process or if problems arise with the molded rubber part. JOB REQUIREMENTS * Ability to understand and communicate details logically and accurately in English * Ability to complete counting and basic mathematical calculations * Ability to record information in writing and to enter data accurately into the computer * Ability to use basic hand tools * Other duties as assigned PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Occasionally: reach above shoulder with both hands, lift/carry up to 50 lbs.
