Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Margarine Machine Operator responsible for operating and monitoring process plants to produce butter, margarine, and shortening as per quality standards. Duties include plant setup, process control, ingredient handling, basic lab tests, and coordination with QA to ensure product safety and compliance.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Operate GS and Chemtech process plants.
  • Knowledge of butter, margarine, and shortening production.
  • Plant start-up, set-up adjustments, and CIP (Clean-in-Place) procedures.
  • Conduct lab-scale trials and ensure process parameters are within specifications.
  • Check ingredient lot expiry and confirm oil release from lab.
  • Perform CCP monitoring and accurate ingredient weighing.
  • Maintain machine hygiene, cleaning, and autonomous maintenance.
  • Inspect tools and maintain activity logs.
  • Prepare emulsifier and water phase for butter/margarine.
  • Conduct in-process quality checks (RI, TBHQ, Moisture, SFC).
  • Manage product changeovers and hot circulation.
  • Coordinate with QA for batch approvals and quality assurance.

  • Timely completion of product changeovers and CIP activities

Work experience requirement
4 + Years + Experience in a manufacturing environment, specifically in operating margarine production lines.
