The purpose of this role is to perform tasks that are in support of the processing operations (before or after).

Key Accountabilities:

• Performs activities on machinery to assist higher levels of Operators/Technicians.
• Takes samples and measures with appropriate instruments.
• Inspects machinery and raw material.
• Mounts and dismantles parts of machinery.

Functional Area: Processing
Design and operates metallurgical process plants. Roles contribute to beneficiation technology and provide technical input to process raw material in order to produce saleable products.

Includes roles that are executing, or leading the delivery of, the processing plant plan in a safe and cost-effective manner to ensure that targeted quantities are delivered on a consistent basis. Engages team members in promoting the highest safety and operational standards.

Has developed skills through formal training and/or related work experience. Works within established procedures with a moderate degree of supervision. Resolves issues with senior staff or supervisory guidance and approval.
