Responsibilities

WHAT WILL YOU DO? MAKE AN IMPACT!

To manage the treatment and movements of clinical waste deliveries, in or out of the facility, in full correspondence to environmental regulations and site license requirements. Managing the necessary documentation required by environmental regulations in order to transfer and dispose of clinical and hazardous wastes, and to do so following all health and safety processes.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • To maintain the appearance of the facility, plant, yard, canteen + changing rooms.
  • To operate processing machinery with a high level of attention and responsibility.
  • To safely operate industrial cleaning equipment such as pressure washers and industrial vacuums.
  • Operating static equipment on a day-to-day basis as part of an industrial process.
  • To have a good knowledge of specific clinical waste documents which are the basis of managing the movements of clinical and hazardous wastes.
  • To work well as part of a team and assist other departments where needed.
  • To perform daily tasks in order to maintain a high level of quality in the workplace.
  • To develop and use a good understanding of the machinery and its characteristics in order to achieve maximum productivity and potential.
  • To assist in the loading and unloading of vehicles.
  • To engage professionally with customers and/or visitors to site.
  • Use downtime to improve the site cleanliness and safety.
