Description

As we continue to experience remarkable growth and promote our talented team members, we are excited to expand our operator workforce.
At Superheat we perform remote heat treatment in oil refineries, petrochemical plants, and power plants worldwide. Field operations personnel set up the equipment on-site while our SmartCenter Control Room Panel Operators start and monitor the heat cycles remotely.
The SmartCenter Operator manages multiple projects from all over the world in our Corporate SmartCenter Control Rooms. Operators are the critical liaison between Field Operations, Controls Support, Quality Assurance, and Engineering. This includes managing all aspects of assigned projects, from entering client documentation, setting up and monitoring cycle operations following site/client specifications, troubleshooting with multiple departments, and creating client chart packages. With Superheat you will join a strong, experienced team at a company with almost 25 years of Remote Operator Heat Treatment expertise. We pride ourselves as the premier heat treatment provider, developing all our processes, technology, and software in-house.
This position requires strong computer and technical skills as it is 100% computer work. In addition, this position starts with 8hr rotating shift, then advancing to rotating shift work - 12-hour days, and nights, including weekends.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED

  • You can work independently while also being a valuable team player. You can identify and prioritize tasks according to urgency and importance and are comfortable seeking clarification when required.
  • Attention to detail is essential; we work in a fast-paced environment with a high volume of data transfer from client documentation to our SmartView database. Flexibility is also crucial, as our workload varies depending on customer demands.
  • A strong technical mindset is a must-have, with excellent problem-solving skills and a good understanding of processes. You need to be adaptable and open to changes, as our customers have unique requirements, and we continually refine our processes to deliver the best experience.
  • Experience with metallurgy, welding, and quality programs is beneficial. However, we are willing to teach an Operator who possesses a positive attitude, multitasking skills, and a willingness to learn. These qualities are essential to our team.

EDUCATIONAL & TRAINING REQUIREMENTS

  • Secondary School Diploma, or equivalency. Higher education considered an asset.
  • Superheat will provide relevant in-house training with a dedicated trainer. Once completed, you will be mentoring with an experienced operator.
  • Driver’s License.
