THE OPPORTUNITY

Veolia ANZ is seeking a Water Treatment Operator to operate and maintain a leachate/waste water water treatment plant in Raymond Terrace. An attractive salary package, which includes overtime paid at an hourly rate, is on offer for the role.

• Operate, monitor and maintain the contaminated water treatment plant.
• Assist the project/process engineers in undertaking improvement and optimisation initiatives.
• Carry out water sampling with a high degree of care to prevent cross contamination.
• Maintain asset integrity by regular inspections, services and testing to ensure maximum uptime.
• Work closely with stakeholders to ensure contract obligations are met.
• Undertake routine maintenance activities including supervision of work orders and maintaining a spare parts inventory.
