Role: General Labour– Operator
Great opportunity in Barrie for a company that specializes in developing heat pump equipment for the emerging market of low-carbon domestic hot water systems. We are currently expanding our design and development team and are seeking a Mechanical Engineer - HVAC. This position offers a unique opportunity for the candidate to be an integral part of the core development team.

What’s on offer

• Days: 6am – 2pm Mon-Fri
• Afternoons – 1pm-9pm Mon-Fri
• Salary $21.50 per hour

Position Responsibilities
1. Operate overhead crane, bar bending, and sheer machines (training provided)
2. Reading and following instructions on the bar lists provided in order to fabricate rebar
3. Assisting equipment operators in material handling
4. Tagging fabricated bundles for identification purposes
5. Assisting in housekeeping duties for the yard and shop
6. All other related tasks

Qualifications & Skills

• Continual heavy lifting
• Good Communications
• Basic/Measurement skills

1. Previous Manufacturing experience
