Description
Description About the Role: Are you someone who loves helping people see the world more clearly—literally? We’re looking for a bright, energetic, and detail-loving Ophthalmic Assistant to join our eye care dream team! Whether you're measuring vision, calming nerves, or helping during eye exams, you're a key part of every patient's journey to better sight. Think of yourself as part technician, part educator, and full-on superhero in scrubs. Requirements What You’ll Be Doing (a.k.a. Assist during eye exams and minor procedures (don’t worry, we’ll train you!). Prep exam rooms with precision and keep things sparkling clean. Teach patients how to use eye drops like pros and walk them through post-care steps. Keep our high-tech gadgets running smoothly (you’ll be BFFs with our diagnostic equipment). Master the EMR (that’s our digital command center) for scheduling, charting, and notes. Work alongside a fun, professional team that really gets each other. What You Bring to the Table: A high school diploma or GED (bonus points for medical or eye care experience!) A passion for helping people and an eye for detail (pun intended ) Certification as a COA is awesome, but not required—willingness to learn is key! Excellent communication and multitasking super skills Comfort with tech and an eagerness to learn Perks & Benefits: Flexible hours & friendly coworkers Eye care discounts (of course!)
