Ironclad & Co. is seeking dedicated Ophthalmic Diagnostic Technicians to support our eye care professionals by performing a variety of diagnostic tests and procedures. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and provide compassionate patient care while ensuring accurate and timely diagnostic results. Responsibilities Perform ophthalmic diagnostic tests including visual field testing, optical coherence tomography (OCT), tonometry, pachymetry, and retinal imaging Prepare patients for diagnostic procedures and explain tests clearly Maintain and calibrate diagnostic equipment to ensure accuracy Document and report test results to ophthalmologists for diagnosis and treatment planning Maintain patient records and comply with healthcare privacy standards Requirements Previous experience as an ophthalmic or ophthalmology technician Knowledge of ophthalmic diagnostic equipment and techniques Strong attention to detail and ability to obtain accurate results Excellent communication and patient care skills Basic computer skills and ability to use electronic health record (EHR) systems Benefits Competitive salary Training and professional development opportunities Supportive team environment Experience as ophthalmic technician preferred Knowledge of diagnostic equipment Strong attention to detail Good communication and patient care skills Basic computer and EHR proficiency
Responsibilities
