Houston Retina Associates is affiliated with EyeSouth Partners' premier network of medical and surgical specialty eye care services. Position Summary Seeking medical scribe for an ophthalmology practice. Primary duty will be to scribe and enter chart data when the doctor is in the office. Other medical administrative tasks will be taught and performed when the doctor is not in the office. Some travel to other offices may be part of the job if a need arises, but travel will be rare and optional. Benefits include 401k, paid vacation/sick time, and medical insurance. Seeking individuals in a gap year prior to medical or physician assistant school. Memorial office location: 9225 Katy Freeway, Houston, TX 77024 Monday through Friday: 8:30 am to 4:30 pm Job Type: Full-time Responsibilities This position requires customer service skills, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and a degree of independent decision-making.
