Benefits include: medical, dental, vision, 401(k) match, and generous PTO. ---------------------------------------- THE OPPORTUNITY We’re hiring a fully trained Ophthalmic Technician 2 with 2+ years of refracting experience. You’ll handle pre-exam workups, patient history, and diagnostic testing—playing a key role in patient care and supporting our physicians in diagnosing and treating eye conditions. ---------------------------------------- WHAT YOU’LL DO * Perform vision testing: distance/near acuity, peripheral vision, depth & color perception * Apply anesthetic, dilating, and medicated drops * Collect/process specimens * Triage urgent cases and maintain clinic flow * Prep rooms and assist physicians during procedures * Perform basic equipment maintenance * Follow infection-control and confidentiality standards ---------------------------------------- WHAT YOU’LL NEED * Ability to work across all specialties and perform all ancillary tasks * Minimum 2 years refracting experience * Excellent verbal and written communication * Patient-focused, outgoing, and service-oriented * Calm, dependable problem-solver * Positive attitude; strong team player * Flexible and comfortable with change * Ocular pharmacology knowledge is a plus, not required * Ability to stand/walk frequently and lift up to 10 lbs ---------------------------------------- WHO WE ARE We’re a leading eye-care organization with nearly 1,400 employees, 50+ clinics, 5 surgery centers, and 110+ providers, offering comprehensive ocular, oculoplastic, and retinal care from childhood through adulthood.
