At Eye Q Premium Laser we pride ourselves in only offering state of the art technology combined with expert medical/surgical knowledge. At our clinic we offer Ophthalmic-medical and elective (Lasik) surgical services and serve a wide range of people in the community.
We are looking for an individual who has experience in the ophthalmology field and can apply their skills to our fast-paced, multi doctor clinic. The perfect candidate will preserve our ideology by offering premium patient care. In this role your primary duty will be to assist our ophthalmologists by pre-screening patients and performing ocular measurements. With our patient lists growing and new diagnostic equipment, you are sure to gain experience and knowledge while working at Eye Q.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 1-2 years of Ophthalmic experience preferred
  • Preference will be given to those JCAHPO certified
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Detail oriented and have the ability to work well with a team as well as independently.
  • Intermediate computer skills, experience with Health Quest is considered an asset

  • Performing various preliminary diagnostic testing: OCT, Visual field, pachymetry, IOP, visual acuity, IOL Master, autorefraction, lensometry, a-scan, pentacam
  • Instilling ophthalmic drops for fundus examination and procedures
  • Assisting in minor procedures
