Applications without prior ophthalmology or optometry clinical experience will not be considered. EyenamicsNY is a specialty ophthalmology practice with a strong focus on neuro-ophthalmology and glaucoma management. We are seeking a skilled, detail-oriented ophthalmic technician/scribe to join our clinical team. Role Responsibilities Medical scribing during patient encounters, ensuring accurate and efficient documentation Comprehensive patient workups, including history taking and pre-testing Diagnostic testing, including visual acuity, autorefraction, and lensometry Advanced imaging, including OCT and slit-lamp photography Supporting clinic flow while maintaining exceptional patient care standards Required Qualifications (Non-Negotiable) Prior experience as an ophthalmic technician or ophthalmic scribe Familiarity with ophthalmic testing and clinical workflows Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a busy clinic Excellent communication and professionalism What We Offer Exposure to complex neuro-ophthalmic and glaucoma cases Ongoing skill development with advanced diagnostic technology Close collaboration with experienced clinicians in a specialty practice A supportive, patient-focused work environment How to Apply Please email your resume and a brief description of your prior ophthalmic experience to Dr. Robert Rothstein at robert.rothstein@eyenamicsny.com
