Certification as an Ophthalmic Assistant (COA) JCAHPO is required. 3. Certification as an Ophthalmic Technician by JCAHPO is preferred. 4. Basic life support certification is required. 5. Prior pediatric experience strongly preferred. 6. Ability to effectively communicate with hospital & staff, patients, and families. 7. Knowledge of growth and development of infants, children, adolescent, adults and elderly patients in order to provide appropriate care.
