Position Summary: This position talks directly with patients through our call center. Determines urgency of patients needs based on brief assessment and familiarity with patients condition and history. Submits refill of prescriptions as instructed by physician. Responsibilities
The Ophthalmic Triage Agent conducts patient assessments via a call center to determine the urgency of care and manages physician schedules. They are also responsible for processing prescription refills and maintaining accurate chart documentation.
