C-Care is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Ophthalmologist to join our dedicated medical team. A significant requirement for this role is proficiency and proven experience in the management and treatment of patients with Diabetic Retinopathy. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive ophthalmic care, perform surgical and non-surgical procedures, and contribute to the quality improvement initiatives of the department. Key Responsibilities Clinical Care: Provide comprehensive general ophthalmic examinations, diagnosis, and treatment for a wide range of ocular conditions. Diabetic Retinopathy Specialization: Expertly manage patients with all stages of Diabetic Retinopathy, including screening, monitoring, laser photocoagulation, and medical management (e.g., intravitrel injections). Perform and interpret relevant diagnostic tests, such as OCT (Optical Coherence Tomography) and Fluorescein Angiography. Surgical Procedures: Perform routine and specialized ophthalmic surgeries, primarily focusing on general ophthalmology procedures. Patient Management: Counsel patients and their families regarding diagnoses, treatment options, prognosis, and preventative care. Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other medical professionals, including endocrinologists and primary care physicians, for holistic patient care. Quality & Safety: Maintain accurate and timely medical records and adhere strictly to all medical and ethical standards. Required Qualifications & Experience Education/Training: Medical Degree (MD/MBBS) followed by completion of specialist ophthalmology training within a European Union (EU) or European Economic Area (EEA) country. Experience: 2 to 3 years of clinical experience as a practicing Ophthalmologist post-completion of specialist training. Expertise: Demonstrable proficiency in the comprehensive management of Diabetic Retinopathy Language: Fluency in French and English is required.
