Description

Daytime Healthcare are assisting a brand new ophthalmology clinic to find an Ophthalmology Clinic Manager to join the team in Southampton. This post is suitable for an experienced manager with prior CQC registration and NHS experience.
As a CQC registered manager, you will be responsible for ensuring our clinic is fully compliant with all CQC regulations, while keeping our operations running smoothly and efficiently.
The Clinic Manager is jointly responsible with the Clinical Director for the effective strategic and operational management of the clinic. The post-holder with the Clinical Director will provide leadership and direction to the service.

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE:

  • Management experience in the NHS with responsibility for operational matters including

staff management, budgetary responsibility and performance targets.

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent experience
  • Management qualification, MBA or equivalent. or working towards
  • Proven experience of service development
  • Proven experience of change management ability
  • Experience of leading projects.
  • Previous CQC registration: a minimum of one year of experience as a clinic manager, preferably in an Ophthalmology setting. You must have knowledge and experience in ensuring that CQC regulations are met in all aspects of clinic operation.
