Your Specific Responsibilities: Responsible to sets up appointments in order to interview and counsel applicants to determine economic indigence for eligibility for available services. Registers and maintains client record in computer data file and electronic health record. Collects, registers, verifies, and inputs all pertinent client information in all systems modules: Client Registration, review of Family Financials, verification of Insurance Information, and recording of CSRs with accuracy. Answers the telephone, schedule client appointments, reschedules and /or follows up missed appointments by phone or text, and makes reminder phone calls if necessary. Secures translation assistance for patients needing our services. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Always promote customer service excellence through” patient first” approach at all times. Assures that customers are treated with respect and courtesy and dissatisfied customers are afforded the opportunity to discuss their concerns. Working knowledge operating computers, photocopy machine, calculators, cash register, printers, scanners, and all related equipment required by position. Qualifications: Minimum: One year of customer service experience or call center experience. Bilingual- English/Spanish Florida Department of Health is required to work before, during, and/or beyond normal work hours or days in the event of anemergency. Emergency duty required of the incumbent includes working in special needs shelter or performing other emergency dutiesincluding but not limited to, response to or threats involving any disaster or threat of disaster man-made or natural. Preferred One or more years of experience using i.e.… HMS, Dentrix, Careware, FMMIS and Solution Reach. Experience dealing with HMO or third-party insurance for Medicare and Medicaid and working on Department of Health's Electronic Health Record Systems.
