Description:
The Senior Mission Integrator at the Marine Corps Warfighting Lab (MCWL) is responsible for designing, coordinating, and executing complex military exercises using Modeling, Simulation, Analysis, and Wargaming (MS&A) techniques. This role integrates general MS&A expertise with the unique operational, doctrinal, and technological requirements of the Marine Corps. The Senior Mission Integrator will work in a dynamic, innovative environment focused on exploring and validating future warfare concepts and technologies.
- Designing and developing realistic mission scenarios aligned with Marine Corps doctrine and expeditionary warfare principles
- Integrating land, sea, and air components of the FMF within simulation environments to test interoperability
- Designing scenarios simulating unique challenges of expeditionary operations, including amphibious assaults and urban warfare
- Collaborating with the MCWL to test new concepts, equipment, and technologies in simulated environments
- Exploring and integrating emerging technologies into exercise scenarios
- Coordinating joint and multinational exercises with other military services and international partners
- Overseeing the integration of various simulation systems and platforms for a cohesive training environment
- Managing exercise planning and execution, making real-time adjustments as necessary
- Collecting, analyzing, and reporting on data generated during exercises to inform decision-making
- Facilitating coordination with multiple agencies and international partners

Requirements:
- Proven experience in designing and executing military exercises
- Familiarity with Marine Corps doctrine, tactics, and procedures (TTPs)
- In-depth knowledge of Marine Corps organization, capabilities, and expeditionary warfare principles
- Understanding of Fleet Marine Force (FMF) interoperability requirements
- Ability to design complex, realistic scenarios that challenge and prepare military forces for real-world operations
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proven track record in planning, executing, and evaluating large-scale, complex MS&A projects
- Bachelor’s degree in Military Science, Operations Research, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics or a related field
- Strong understanding of data collection, analysis, and reporting
- Knowledge of emerging technologies (e.g., unmanned systems, AI, cyber capabilities)
- Excellent communication and coordination abilities
- Ability to work effectively with diverse teams, including military personnel, civilian experts, and international partners
- Understanding of joint and coalition operational environments

- Advanced degree (Master’s or Ph.D.) in Military Science, Operations Research, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics or a related field
- Relevant certifications in simulation software and tools (e.g., DIS, NGTS, AFSIM, ASCOT, NetLogo, VBS3)
- Proficient in using military-related simulation tools and platforms
- Experience with inter-agency and international coordination
