JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Conduct pretests for patients and support the optometrist in clinic
  • Dispense glasses with the level of care you would expect for yourself
  • Deliver and fit glasses with precision to change someone’s quality of life.
  • Maintain accurate patient records for continuity of care
  • Provide outstanding customer service so that they remember you
  • Repair glasses with skill and care

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Previous experience in a care home setting is a plus
  • At least 1 year of optical experience required
  • GCSEs in Math and English or equivalent
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Enthusiastic and proactive attitude
  • Full driving license (enjoy a fully expensed company car for business and personal use)
  • Availability from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm, Monday to Friday, with some flexibility for travel
