EXPERIENCED OPTICAL ASSISTANT - ADLAM AND COOMBER

At Adlam and Coomber, we are re an independent optical practice that truly values its team and the community we serve. As an Experienced Optical Assistant, you’ll play an essential role in delivering high-quality patient care. From supporting the clinical team during eye exams and fittings to offering advice on eyewear and lens options, you’ll be a trusted point of contact for patients. You’ll also help keep accurate records and assist with day-to-day practice admin. This role would suit someone with strong communication skills, attention to detail, and previous experience in an optical role.

About the Role:
We are looking for a full time Optical Assistant to join us in delivering outstanding patient care.

As an Experienced Optical Assistant, you’ll play a key role in ensuring every patient receives exceptional care from the moment they walk through the door. Your day-to-day will include:

  • Supporting optometrists and dispensing opticians during eye exams and fittings
  • Advising patients on eyewear options, lens types, and aftercare
  • Managing patient records and handling key administrative tasks
  • Helping to maintain a welcoming and professional practice environment
