THE ROLE

We’re on the lookout for a warm, enthusiastic Optical Assistant to join our team. In this role, you’ll be the first friendly face our patients see, helping them choose the perfect eyewear while ensuring they receive outstanding care. Whether you have optical experience or not, what matters most is your passion for great customer service and a keen interest in learning all about eyecare and luxury eyewear.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

• Giving every patient a friendly, warm welcome and ensuring they have a great experience.
• Helping patients find their perfect frames and lenses to match their style and vision needs.
• Carrying out pre-screening tests and recording patient information accurately.
• Assisting the optometrists and practice manager with the smooth day-to-day running of the practice.
• Handling orders, payments, and stock management.
• Keeping our practice looking clean, organised, and inviting.
• Educating patients on the best eye care solutions and aftercare for their eyewear.
• Making small adjustments and repairs to ensure glasses fit just right.
