The Optical Coating Tech I supports the manufacturing and production of advanced optical components used in aerospace and defense applications. This role is responsible for the preparation, deposition, and quality assurance of thin-film coatings on optical substrates, following standard operating procedures with direct supervision of tasks. This position will be hired to work on 1st shift.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
The employee will frequently need to be able to lift up to 5-25lbs during routine work with or without assistance. Clean room protocols and PPE will be necessary to work in this position.

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Under direct supervision, the Optical Coating Tech I follows written Standard Manufacturing Procedures and detailed Work Instructions to process a variety of optics through inspection, cleaning, loading/unloading, and operation of coating equipment.
Job Responsibilities Include:
Work with maintenance, engineering, quality and operations teams to executive daily workComplete required training on time and with proficiency as required
QUALITY AND ENVIRONMENTAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Depending on location, this position may be responsible for the execution and maintenance of the ISO 9000, 9001, 14001 and/or other applicable standards that may apply to the relevant roles and responsibilities within the Quality Management System and Environmental Management System.
