Description:

We are seeking a dedicated Optical Dispenser to join our team. You will play a crucial role in assisting patients with their eyewear needs, providing exceptional service, and making recommendations on Frames/Sunglasses and lenses from our Eyewear Boutique to best suit the patients life style.

SKILLS:

  • Proficiency in optical dispensing procedures and equipment
  • Knowledge of medical terminology related to Optometry and Ophthalmology
  • Experience in a laboratory setting for lens preparation is advantageous
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities

    Pay: $22.00-$28.00 per hour
    Expected hours: 15 – 40 per week

Responsibilities:

  • Assist patients in selecting appropriate eyewear based on prescriptions and preferences
  • Conduct customized frame styling consultations to help patients find the perfect fit and style
  • Take accurate measurements for eyeglasses and ensure proper fitting
  • Educate patients on lens options, coatings, and other optical products
  • Process orders and maintain accurate patient records
  • Collaborate with Optometrists and other team members to deliver comprehensive eye care services
  • Perform adjustments, repairs, and troubleshooting of eyewear
