WHO YOU ARE
We’re looking for someone who:
✔Has experience as an Optometric Assistant or Optical Dispensing or in the eye care field (preferred, but we’re willing to train the right person!).
✔ Is eager to grow professionally and learn advanced optometric and dry eye care techniques.
✔ Thrives in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment and enjoys working as part of a team.
✔Is detail-oriented, organized, and loves delivering exceptional patient care.
✔Has excellent communication skills and a warm, friendly demeanor.
✔Is tech-savvy and comfortable with EMR systems (or willing to learn!).
As an Optometric Assistant, you’ll be an integral part of our patient care team. Your role will include:
Welcoming Patients: Creating a warm, inviting atmosphere while assisting patients with their visit.
Pre-Testing & Diagnostics: Conducting state-of-the-art diagnostic tests to assist our optometrists.
Hands-On Dry Eye Treatments: Performing and assisting with advanced dry eye treatments such as IPL, LipiFlow, and more! (training is provided)
Eyewear Styling & Adjustments: Helping patients find the perfect frame, ensuring optimal fit and comfort.
Clinic Organization & Support: Managing exam rooms, maintaining equipment, and keeping things running smoothly.
Scheduling & Patient Follow-Ups: Handling appointments, patient education, and electronic medical records (EMR) management.
