Job Description -Technical support Define and evaluate optical simulation for Heads-Up displays. Develop Analysis based on those results out of the simulation. Clarify with PM in case of new platform, new technologies needed for acquisition. -Requirements management Align the Requirements Documents. Define tolerance and optical requirements. -Requirements development Align requirements regarding optical parameter from customer side with in the requirement documentation of Continental. -Product architecture development Develop a optic design for the product based on the requirements. Cowork with ME to ensure technical feasibility of the solution. Ensure the compliance with legal and internal requirements. Be responsible for the documentation related to optical PDC HUD architecture. -Product integration planning Work for the gate releases. -Product integration coordination Check and distribution of produced samples to the customer and internal users. Qualifications Experience in programming, especial of optical simulation environment (ZEMAX, ASAP, CODE V) and MatLab, are highly welcome-Expert. Capability to analyze opto-technical problems-Expert. Responsibilities
The Optical Engineer will provide technical support by defining and evaluating optical simulations for Heads-Up displays and developing analyses based on simulation results. They will also be responsible for product architecture development and ensuring compliance with legal and internal requirements.
