Overview: The Optical Lab Tech will be assisting the Clinic/Optical Manager/Director in every aspect of optical operations, including patient care and education. Responsibilities:

  • Ordering optical products for patients on daily basis
  • Unloading shipments of glasses and/or contacts and verifying accuracy of orders
  • Communicating with patients to pick up orders
  • Maintaining optical inventory by checking in, tagging, pricing, and displaying new merchandise.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Working knowledge of all aspects regarding eye wear
  • Demonstrated computer literacy
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to work as a team member
  • Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
  • Dedicated to creating a quality patient experience
