It supports the distribution of eyewear and related products to retail locations across several provinces, including Alberta, Manitoba, and Ontario. The centre works in coordination with a nearby support office to ensure efficient operations and service delivery.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Must have 3-5 years of experience working as an optical lab technician or optometric assistant
• Basic Computer skills: Windows, internet browsers, email, Excel, Word etc.
• Excellent communication skills in English are required to read, write, and communicate
• Previous edging and glazing experience

• Supervise the day-to-day functions of the manufacturing lab, ensuring smooth workflow and achievement of production targets
• Conduct quality checks on optical components and finished products
• Calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot optical manufacturing equipment
• Provide training, performance management, and support to lab technicians
• Manage job flow to meet production targets and collaborate with customer service to ensure timely and accurate order deliveries
• Liaise with stores and labs to resolve product quality disputes, handle special orders, and log IT issues as needed
