The Clinic Manager will be completely cross-trained in pre-testing, optical sales, and more so they are able to assist staff with patient service and sales. The ideal candidate will have previous retail sales experience as a manager and/or customer service specialist. The Clinic Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations of their practice location. The Location Manager’s focus is to lead their team, ensure effective clinic flow, and keep the values and standards of the clinic.
This team member will work a schedule of 40 hours per week, Mondays through Saturdays.

Pretesting

• Carefully and accurately provide preliminary testing on patients, taking detailed case histories, lensometry, administering eye drops, and preparing examination rooms for the optometrist
• Eager to learn how to use various equipment

Optical Sales

• Sales of glasses, multiple sales, sunglasses, contact lens, etc.
• Offer expertise in the dispensary areas of frame selection, lens design, edging, measurement and fabrication, frame purchasing and inventory management as well as adjustments, repairs, payments and data collection.

Drive Your Business

• Better the eyewear industry by running and developing your store as part of a new and exciting business model
• Be passionate and commit to delivering the best service in the eyewear and optometry industry
• Work in collaboration with your store team members and motivate associates to exceed performance standards in order to maximize your store profits
• Responsible for day-to-day operations of their location and ensuring consistency of the clinic’s branding, values and standards.
• Plan, budget, forecast and report on sales including cost of goods and key revenue indicator targets and results.
• Review and analyze sales results to summarize information and report trends to the leadership team with action plans for improvement and continued growth.
• Actively work with staff to ensure awareness of goals and targets that need to be achieved.
• Oversee the sales floor and timely open and close the store following proper procedures.
• Drive and achieve profit, sales and performance goals.
• Optimize and oversee the retail operation to ensure efficiency and compliance with the company’s policies and operational guidelines.
• Convey a commitment to providing outstanding customer service and ensure all associates do the same.
• Develop and maintain a good working relationship with doctor(s), staff, and managers.
• Ensure store promotions, advertising, and visual merchandising are in place and all associates and doctors are aware of current promotions. Skills & Experience:
