Responsibilities
  • Leadership & Staff Management
  • Recruit, train, and supervise staff.
  • Provide coaching, mentorship, and performance evaluations to foster a positive team culture.
  • Create and manage staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage.
  • Customer Service & Patient Care
  • Deliver outstanding customer service.
  • Resolve customer concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Collaborate with optometrists to support patient needs.
  • Operations & Inventory Management
  • Oversee daily operations of the optical department, including sales, customer service, and lab coordination.
  • Maintain accurate inventory levels of frames, lenses, and accessories.
  • Ensure proper merchandising, cleanliness, and organization of the optical space.
  • Sales & Business Development
  • Drive sales performance by meeting and exceeding revenue goals.
  • Implement promotions, marketing initiatives, and upselling strategies.
  • Analyze business reports and KPIs to identify areas of improvement.
  • Compliance & Quality Assurance
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, industry standards, and state regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records of patient prescriptions and transactions.
  • Oversee safety protocols and equipment maintenance.
    Job Type: Full-time
    Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
    Expected hours: 40 per week
